THE FIRST ROUTE DU MAQUIS RALLY

Long awaited by loyal CNP participants, Corsica finally joins the calendar with a rally entirely dedicated to the Isle of Beauty. A long-standing project, the Route du Maquis offers a unique immersion into the island’s most spectacular landscapes. Staying true to the Corsican spirit, the adventure begins as soon as participants board the ferry in Toulon, enjoying an overnight crossing in a luxury cabin to Bastia before setting off on three exceptional stages through mountains, Mediterranean scrubland and breathtaking coastal roads.

FROM BASTIA TO AJACCIO

Following an early morning arrival in Porto Vecchio, the opening stage takes crews to Porticcio through the chestnut forests of Castagniccia and the wild scenery of the Agriates Desert. The following day, the route heads towards Porto-Vecchio via Bonifacio, famous for its spectacular white limestone cliffs and the iconic Lion of Roccapina. The final stage leads participants to Ajaccio via the legendary Calanques de Piana, one of the Mediterranean’s most remarkable natural treasures. The rally concludes with a final ferry crossing back to mainland France.

COMPLETE ROUTE

HOW TO PARTICIPATE?

RALLY FORMAT

The rally follows a roadbook route including touring sections and regularity tests, but without time controls or time cards. The only mandatory schedule is the stage start time. No penalties are applied for arriving early or late. Passage controls may be positioned throughout the route to verify that the official itinerary has been followed.

REGULARITY TESTS

The regularity tests take place on open public roads and must be driven at an average speed set by the organiser, ranging from 30 to 60 km/h depending on the road profile. One or several average speed changes may be specified in the roadbook. Starts are given from a standing start every 30 seconds, following the order of presentation.

TIMING & RESULTS

Timing is recorded to the nearest second. The organiser may install intermediate timing points at any location throughout the regularity tests at its sole discretion. No timing will be recorded during the first kilometre of each test, nor within villages or built-up areas.

MEASURING DEVICES

All electronic and mechanical measuring devices are permitted (smartphones, GPS units, stopwatches, tripmeters, etc.). There are no restrictions on the equipment you choose to use, and GPS-based devices are fully authorised. Remote displays and their associated control units are also permitted.

ENTRY FEE: €5,850

For 2 people and 1 car

TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

A dedicated assistance team follows the rally throughout the route in the event of a mechanical breakdown. Courtesy cars are also available should your vehicle be unable to continue, allowing you to reach the next overnight stop while repairs are carried out.

LUGGAGE SERVICE

As classic cars often provide limited luggage space, our organisation takes care of transporting your luggage from one hotel to the next. At the end of each stage, your luggage will already be waiting for you in your room.

EXTENDED STAYS

All our rallies take place during the week, making it easy to extend your stay before or after the event while benefiting from preferential conditions. Travel arrangements can also be organised upon request.
