Between lakes, mountains, dramatic cliffs and spectacular coastlines, this inaugural edition promises a unique immersion into one of Europe’s most authentic destinations.\r\n\r\n

FROM DUBLIN TO BELFAST<\/h3>\r\n\r\nThis brand-new route will take participants from Dublin to Belfast over four stages through some of the island’s most spectacular landscapes. After an opening stage leading crews to the shores of Connemara, the itinerary follows the west coast towards Lough Erne before a loop stage allowing participants to fully enjoy Northern Ireland’s wild roads without changing hotels.\r\n\r\nThe rally then heads towards Belfast via the legendary Giant’s Causeway. Staying true to the CNP philosophy, both the start and finish hotels have been carefully selected away from busy city centres to ensure comfort, easy access and premium hospitality, while still allowing participants to discover both Dublin and Belfast. The rally will also begin close to one of Ireland’s most prestigious golf courses.\r\n\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n

RALLY FORMAT<\/h3>\r\n\r\nThe rally follows a roadbook route including touring sections and regularity tests, but without time controls or time cards. The only mandatory schedule is the stage start time. No penalties are applied for arriving early or late. Passage controls may be positioned throughout the route to verify that the official itinerary has been followed.\r\n\r\n<\/div><\/div>\r\n\r\n<\/div><\/div>\r\n\r\n

REGULARITY TESTS<\/h3>\r\n\r\nThe regularity tests take place on open public roads and must be driven at an average speed set by the organiser, ranging from 30 to 60 km\/h depending on the road profile. One or several average speed changes may be specified in the roadbook. Starts are given from a standing start every 30 seconds, following the order of presentation.\r\n\r\n<\/div><\/div>\r\n\r\n<\/div><\/div>\r\n\r\n

TIMING & RESULTS<\/h3>\r\n\r\nTiming is recorded to the nearest second. The organiser may install intermediate timing points at any location throughout the regularity tests at its sole discretion. No timing will be recorded during the first kilometre of each test, nor within villages or built-up areas.\r\n\r\n<\/div><\/div>\r\n\r\n<\/div><\/div>\r\n\r\n

MEASURING DEVICES<\/h3>\r\n\r\nAll electronic and mechanical measuring devices are permitted (smartphones, GPS units, stopwatches, tripmeters, etc.). There are no restrictions on the equipment you choose to use, and GPS-based devices are fully authorised.
