For the third stage, the route was deliberately short to take even more advantage of the program concocted for this day. The route took the participants to the Morvan and its hilly and winding roads and more particularly to Saulieu where we had lunch at Chef Bernard Loiseau’s in his establishment La Tour d’Auxois.
In the morning, we had to face a regularity test that would prove crucial for the general ranking of the event and as expected, it would have been able to reshuffle the cards for the allocation of the accessits to the final podium of the event.
Later in the afternoon, after a visit to the Chateau de Chateauneuf, a CP/Quiz and a tasting were planned at the Domaine Louis Latour, a stone’s throw from Beaune, where a very privileged welcome was reserved for the competitors.
Once arrived at the Hôtel le Cep for the evening, everyone enjoys a little rest before a dinner that is once again spectacular and a new unique moment of conviviality in the heart of the Hospices de Beaune!
